The loans to the financing subsidiaries are to fund the property investment holding subsidiaries
for the purchase of the investment properties. The loans are long term in nature, unsecured, do
not bear interest and are repayable at the sole discretion of the subsidiaries when they have the
necessary cash flow to repay the loans. Repayment of the loans is not anticipated for the next 12
months.
